Innovation - How to become an Inventor?


Innovation: 

There are multiple drivers for innovations.

An invention can be either
  • Driven by specific problem statement
  • Driven by passion 
  • Driven by sense of giving back to the society 
  • Driven by gaps in the existing system
  • Driven by need of the time
and so on.

Everyday there are so many things happening around us. If you are a good observer you can identify a problem which is a general problem or any specific problem. 
General problem are easy to observed by most of the people but only few people are able to identify specific problem in surrounding or in any existing system.

If a person is able identify the specific problems and able to think on solving it. It will lead to inventing the new methods of doing the thing in better way or address the problem.

Observation is one of the quality for inventors!!

So try to observer the situations around you and think on solving if there are any problems.

Discussion is an important part of innovation. when you discuss the idea in your group with others to understand their views and inputs on the solution it can lead to new ideas. So discuss it in your group to see if the problem you are trying to address is the correct problem statement and solution proposed is making sense to the problem statement. many times it happens that a problem statement can be addressed in multiple ways. so when you discuss the objective in your group it can lead to uncovering the other solutions for your idea. Many times you can uncover new problem statements to work on during these discussions. So have a discussion on your idea in your group to uncover the new aspects of the problem and solution.
